This German teen drama is based on the best-selling novel by Andreas Steinhöfel.
Returning home from a summer holiday, Phil discovers that his mother and twin sister are not speaking to one another. Attempting to avoid a family feud just before the end of summer, Phil spends most of his time with his best friend, Kat. At the beginning of the school year a new student joins their class. Phil is instantly smitten with the handsome, mysterious Nicholas, and is over the moon when Nicholas returns his affections. However, Phil must confront his troubled family history in order to find happiness.
Center of My World is a heart-warming tale of first love and the innocence, happiness, and pain that are part of it. The film’s two young leading men, Louis Hofmann (also featured in Best Foreign Film nominee Land of Mine) and handsome Jannik Schümann will capture the hearts of audiences right from the start.
