Sexual violence is a worldwide problem. And despite studies showing that 10 percent of sexual assault victims in the US and the UK are male, the subject of men’s sexual assault remains a global taboo.
In this highly important, documentary piece, director C.K. Mak puts a face to this global phenomenon.
Eric’s life changed forever, a decade ago. On his 17th birthday, on his way home from a night out, he got in a cab for a ride that would change his life forever when the driver and two other men sexually assaulted him. He never went to the police, never saw a doctor, and for a whole decade never shared a word of what had happened to him that night with his family or close friends. After 10 years of silence, Eric embarks on a journey to reclaim his life and change the world around him. Director in attendance.
