Special Guest: Miss Jackie Beat

Drag superstar, Jackie Beat has been entertaining audiences across the US and Europe for over 25 years now with her biting, razor-sharp humor.
Millions have watched her hysterical YouTube music parodies of some of the greatest hits by Britney Spears, Madonna, Mary J. Blige, Christina Aguilera, Cher, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Mariah Carey, and many more.
Her solo act, based entirely on these songs, ran for 18 months alone, just in New York City! Her videos have been shown on MTV, VH1, and E! while radio DJ, Howard Stern has played them repeatedly on his hit radio program.

Beat has appeared on a variety of television series and films including Sex and the City, Flawless featuring Robert De Niro and Philip Seymour Hoffman, the documentary Wigstock: The Movie, and trashy horror film, Gingerdead Man 3: Saturday Night Cleaver.
On stage, she opened for Roseanne Barr during a seven-week stint in New York and Las Vegas. She was also the lead vocalist of electro-rock band, Dirty Sanchez.

Jackie Beat is also a proud member of the WGA and has been a staff writer on a variety of television series and programmes including Hello Ross and E!’s Fashion Police. For the Sci-Fi network, she penned scripts for comedy series, Tripping the Rift while on The WB, she was a writer on Hype.
Beat has written skits and material for a wide range of female entertainers including Rosie O’Donnell, Margaret Cho, Sandra Bernhard, Patricia Arquette, Jennifer Coolidge, Elvira and many others. Highlights of Beat’s playwriting credits include “Double Wide Female”, “Scream Teen Scream!” and “Whatever Happened to Busty Jane?”.
In recent years, she appeared on the National Treasures show featuring Bianca del Rio, Lady Bunny and Sherry Vine. She is also a regular on The Golden Girlz Live, a drag stage tribute to legendary sitcom, The Golden Girls. Her hit show, co-starring Sherry Vine, Battle of the Bitches has now been running for roughly 1000 years.
Recently, her successful web series, Judge Jackie was picked up for a third season. She will soon be appearing in the film Stage Mother, starring alongside Oscar nominee Jacki Weaver, directed by festival guest of honor, Thom Fitzgerald.
