Pride and Protest

Following the recent media frenzy surrounding demonstrations against the LGBTQ community in Birmingham by a group of members of the Muslim community, a team of queer community reporters from diverse ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds is gathering in West London. They try to challenge the persecution, intolerance and discrimination against the diverse LGBTQ community, both by their different ethnic groups, to which they belong, and also by the white heteronormative mainstream that also dominates London’s queer community.
This unique work is a mix of conversations, protests, performances, and especially a stage to present the life journeys of the social activists belonging to the MADE – Make A Difference Entertainment charity organization that is behind this important documentary project.
