This year, over 100 short films dealing with a variety of perspectives on the homosexual experience were submitted to the festival. The selection was difficult, because the films were particularly impressive this year. The team selected a short list of 30, of which 6 short films were curated for this program: an extraordinary coming of age film from Macedonia, immigration and sexual identity in Austria, tough teenage years in a pastoral village in France, two extraordinary German productions – one was shot in Hamburg and the other in the USA, and also a particularly charming film from India.
