The film is based on interviews with individuals who underwent conversion therapy. They undertook the therapy of their own free will, at times encouraged to do so, at times due to social pressure. Their goal was to be cured, to fit in with their community and to live a normative life. These interviews were adapted into short animated films that were directed by year two students of the Sapir College Animation Program.
