Numb to life, Francisco pursues his awakened feelings, embarking on an abstract journey into his heart, mind, and soul. Surrealist scenes and story beats will drive a nonlinear narrative, engaging the audience on a subconscious and emotional level. Francisco’s conflict with society’s suppressive constructs are depicted through his relationship with religion and his sense of responsibility to his wife and family. These subconscious pressures and expectations weigh heavily on our character, creating an atmosphere of guilt and shame. Francisco confronts himself revealing a tragic truth, in which we often kill the parts of ourselves that challenge the beliefs we are taught to feel.
