Every weekend, limits are pushed in dungeons, bedrooms and bars across London, as lost men are swept into the whirl of weekend-long raves of drug-fuelled, unprotected sex.
Chemsex is the story of men who struggle to find a way out of the PNP scene and turn their lives around. It features, among others, the work of a social activist who, after escaping the scene and recovering, established a health center helping gay men conquer their addictions, as well as support those who had been infected with HIV.
A daring exposé of the darker, lesser-known sides of contemporary gay life, Chemsex is a powerful, resolute and uncompromising film.
Viewing is restricted to ages 18 and older due to explicit sex and drug-use scenes.
