Q&A with the director after the screening.

A landmark of queer indie cinema, Seduction: The Cruel Woman explores themes such as S&M, shoe fetish, and a fetishized lesbian relationship. The film caused an outrage when it premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival, and is controversial to this very day.
Wanda is a dominatrix running a gallery in Hamburg. Visitors pay for the privilege of seeing her humiliate her staff. She is a businesswoman who breaks sexual stereotypes and societal taboos with a strong sense of self-restraint and a mysterious smile. But as the lines between her private and personal lives become blurred, trouble soon ensues.
