Korean-born Sophia Lee is entirely dedicated to installation art. She performs in various public spaces: a local shopping center, a park, or on a busy street. When she is not performing, she creates art on social media. To pay the rent, she does odd jobs. Recently, Sophia’s long-term partner split up with her. When she meets Nana, a South African artist living in Los Angeles, a silver lining becomes visible through her cloudy existence. The problem is that Sophia is extreme in love just as in art.
Installation artist Vivian Bang, who plays Sophia, wrote the screenplay together with director Daryl Wein. Bang delivers a refreshing, unordinary performance as an artist driven by relentless self-expression. Watching Sophia’s quest for a meaning for her life and art is a touching, entertaining experience
