Three screenings for the captivating romantic comedy by Greg Berlanti, based on the successful novel by Becky Albertalli, Simon Vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda.
Everyone deserves a big love story, but for 17-year-old Simon, things are pretty complicated in that respect: he has yet to tell his family or friends that he is gay, and is not 100% sure of the identity of the class mate he has fallen for online. The solution to both problems is funny, scary, and life-changing.
Love, Simon is an entertaining, touching coming-of-age story filled with self-discovery and falling in love. Audiences should pay particular attention to the brilliant young cast: Nick Robinson (Jurassic World), Katherine Langford (13 Reasons Why), Alexandra Shipp (X-Men: Apocalypse), Keyinan Lonsdale (The Flash) and Miles Heizer (13 Reasons Why). The more famous older cast members – Josh Duhamel (Transformers), Tony Hale (Veep), and Golden Globe winner Jennifer Garner – likewise deliver excellent performances.
