Leevi returns to his rural home for the summer. After spending time at a lively Parisian university campus, the emptiness of the Finnish country side leaves him feeling dispirited. He spends his days helping his father renovate their old house, and Tareq, a young Syrian immigrant, is hired to help. As the moments and days pass, a deep connection is forged between the two young men and they unite in body and soul. Leevi’s father conservatism will put the new relationship to a test. A beautiful independent film made with a very small budget, which reveals the splendid Finnish landscape and boasts the courageous devotion of the actors to their challenging roles.
