Oscar winners Olympia Dukakis (Moonstruck, Steel Magnolias) and Brenda Flicker (My Left Foot, Albert Nobbs) star in this surprising road trip film as Stella and Dotty, a lesbian couple who’ve been together for 31 years. Now, in their ‘70s, Dotty is losing her eyesight and Stella is having difficulties caring for her. When her granddaughter plans on moving Dotty to a home, they decide to run off to Canada to get married. Along with a young hitchhiker, they embark on one last hurrah – a journey full of life, love and breathtaking vistas.
