CockyBoys Films

The phenomenon that is CockyBoys has managed to break out of the porn industry’s boundaries and in recent years, has been recognized not only at various LGBT film festivals, but also at a number of high-profile international festivals, with the Guadalajara International Film Festival in Mexico perhaps being the most prominent one. Those have given quite the formidable platform for Jake Jaxson’s rich and extraordinary filmmaking – the man behind this impressive brand which now has millions male and female followers, worldwide.
Jaxson is perhaps the most fascinating director to have emerged from the porn industry since Wakefield Poole whose heyday was in the early 1970s – a time when he made porn films such as Boys in the Sand (1971) and Bijou (1972) that were met with favourable reviews from the mainstream press and were shown in commercial cinemas.
Wakefield was active in the early ‘70s at the height of the sexual liberation movement and right on the heels of the Stonewall events. Jaxson meanwhile is filmmaker of an entirely different era. Porn is readily available online with people watching it on their computer screens or phones. Despite all the social shifts, consumption habit changes, and the ways in which viewers watch their porn, Jaxson has been able to maintain his films’ unique cinematic vision – a phenomenon that is a good as extinct in the world of porn filmmaking.
At a special master class to be held on Wednesday, June 12 at 6pm, Jake Jaxson will showcase select scenes from films that have inspired him and shaped his adult filmmaking, while also revealing some secrets from behind the scenes of the CockyBoys franchise.

The festival will feature three original CockyBoys films:
ALL SAiNTS: The Bottle Collector (2019)
It is Not the Pornographer That is Perverse… (2018)
Leave it to Levi (2019)
