New Yorker and theatre director, Jaki Bradley’s debut film is a surprising indie thriller, set in the LGBT resort town of Fire Island.
Ramon O. Torres, who also wrote the compelling script, plays Joseph, a young New York City lawyer who decides to take a step back from all the Big City insanity and have himself a little off-season holiday at the gay, and rather deserted resort town.
While desperately on the hunt for a hookup, he crosses paths with a cute guy, only to then realize that he is in fact a robber who had drugged him and stolen all his possessions. While reeling from his assault, Joseph witnesses a murder, barely escaping the killer’s clutches himself. He takes shelter with Cameron and his friends who have come to Fire Island for the weekend, but soon finds out the killer isn’t about to give up just yet.
