Clarissa Navas’ (director and screenwriter) second film harshly depicts the transition from childhood innocence towards the bitterness of the real world.
Dressed in sportswear, 17-year-old Iris dribbles her basketball through the neglected yards of the block neighborhood somewhere in Argentina. She was expelled from school and spends the hot days and nights with her gay cousins, who are her best friends. The three of them spend time together in the crowded bedroom, in front of the cell phone, on the empty streets of the neighborhood, in the shelters throwing parties or playing hide-and-seek. The air smells of violence, love and sex. Iris notices Brenta, a young woman who has returned after years of absence from the neighborhood, and what begins as a flirt turns out to be a love story, but in the neighborhood rumors start to spread about Renata’s past and Iris, inexperienced, does not know how to deal with them.
