“Raw! Uncut! Video!” is a film about the love between two gay men whose passion for fetishes has brought them to open an alternative gay porno studio “Palm Drive Video”. The film tells of the rising success of the studio and how the changes in the world eventually led to its closing.
Legendary leatherman Jack Fritscher met Mark Hemry in 1979 at Harvey Milk’s birthday party. The two fell head over heels in love with each other. When the AIDS pandemic hit San Francisco, the couple left town in favor of a ranch in the Sonoma region, which they turned into a porno studio that offered viewers new safe sexual options in the time of crisis. Their films mainly featured unprofessional models exploring their unique erotic fantasies on screen and therefore helped creating a favorable image of the fetish world in the gay community.
The result is highly entertaining and is rated +18 due to graphic nudity and sex scenes.
